Per & Ida: The Game, also known as "the wedding game".

I first made this video game exclusively for my marriage. It was revealed as a surprise to all the guests, and available to play at the wedding reception. Then I thought why not share the love with the rest of the world? and ported it to smartphones.

And here it is! A retro-themed side-scrolling point-and-click not-so-interactive story game, about me and my wife.

It is packed with romance, humour and thoughtful one liners to give clues about the challenge in the game. The challenge is to find the 30 secret objects that are well hidden and spread out over the 4 different levels. The secret objects that we are looking for is there to also show our passion for collecting video games and vinyl records.

Every building in the game is painted as an imitation of an existing building in real life. This may cause inhabitants from the cities Sundsvall, Östersund and Shinjuku (Tokyo) to recognize themselves while playing.


Changes made after the wedding:
* Reworked the controlling scheme to point-and-click movement.
* Music and sound effects!
* 4 easy to follow how-to-play instructions.
* Auto-saving between levels that will let you restart from the current level if you shutdown the application.
* Added missing bench animation.
* Various bug fixes and tweaks to the gameplay and speech bubbles.

Im on a low budget and could therefore not test this game on so many different devices before releasing it.
